Some things you carry because they matter. Others you carry because you picked them up at a moment when it made sense and never scheduled a time to put them down — a role, a grudge, a version of yourself that got you through something and then stayed. Hold whatever came to mind and turn a card.

Nothing gets carried this long without paying rent somehow: protection, identity, an argument you have not finished having. Naming the payment is how the grip loosens.
The same card has an opposite face, and it is worth holding both. Reversed, may indicate resistance to change or feeling stuck. Reassess what is truly worthwhile.
So sit with the question you arrived with — What am I still carrying that is no longer mine? — and notice which of the two readings you flinched at. That flinch is the reading. It is the one piece of this page that came from you rather than from the deck, and it is the only piece that can change anything.
